Greenwood Health currently has two counsellors available to our registered patients:
Marianne Hall, Counsellor BAppSocSc – Counselling, Provisional Member of NZAC
Counselling is a process by which the counsellor seeks to work alongside clients to support them to explore aspects of their lives that contribute to their current situation.
Counselling provides clients with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of their situation, themselves, and their relationships with others: empowering them to make informed decisions about what changes they would like to make. Counsellors respect the right of their clients to make their own decisions about their own lives.
Counselling aims to assist clients to bring about changes which increase their sense of well being and result in more satisfying ways of living. Counselling can help with a variety of issues including:
- Grief & Loss
- Low Self-Esteem
- Difficulties Making Decisions
As a Counsellor I endeavour to provide effective professional counselling in a confidential, respectful and non-judgmental environment.
