Another 2020 Farewell
Our wonderful GP Mark Hatfull has handed in his resignation, packed up his stethoscope and left us to be closer to home. Lovely as the drive to Motueka is, the time it takes out of family life was becoming too onerous.
Mark has been with us for more than 2 years. In that time he has made an huge impression on our team, community and patients. With his calm manner, excellent clinical skills and easy communication style, he is going to be sorely missed.
Drs Kirsty Moore and Mark Hatfull had between the two of them taken over from Drs Deborah Morris and Martin Hudson, who both retired earlier this year.
We are now on the lookout for a permanent replacement to work with Kirsty and fill Mark’s shoes – a tall ask! In the meantime we have the pleasure of Dr Michael Brewer’s company who will be working as Kirsty’s partner GP. As many of you will remember from when Mike worked at Greenwood before, he will fit straight in and continue to provide the outstanding care we are so proud of.
We all wish Mark the best in his next endeavours, are so pleased to have worked with him for the time we did, and wish to say thank you for the amazing work – particularly the extraordinary efforts during the first stages of the pandemic outbreak this year – you’re one in a million.
