FAQs

Our hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.

When Greenwood Health is not open (nights, weekends and Statutory Holidays) a Motueka GP is always available to provide After Hours care for our enrolled patients and visitors. On two out of every three days, this After-Hours care is provided by a GP from Greenwood Health.

If you phone Practices in Motueka after hours your call will be answered by a trained Nurse. They will listen to you, offer professional advice, and can make you an appointment with the On Call GP if this is appropriate.

If you require urgent help then dial 111 and ask for the ambulance. Motueka has a full-time professional ambulance service. The doctor on duty may also attend depending on their availability.

Come to us for your minor to moderate injuries – we deal promptly with falls, twisted ankles, hurt backs, cuts, abrasions and minor fractures. You will likely not have to wait nearly as long as at the emergency department, and remember ACC covers most of the charge.
