I was born and raised in Texas. I graduated medical school in 2010 and completed Family Medicine and Obstetrics training in Wisconsin in 2013. My husband (also a Family Physician) and I then worked in beautiful, remote Far West Texas along the Mexican border for the last 10 years. There, we held clinics, attended hospital patients, and delivered babies.
As a family physician/GP, I’ve had the privilege of caring for families at every stage of life. I love the continuity and relationships it has allowed me to have. As a mother of young children, I especially love caring for young families as they navigate pregnancy and parenthood. I have special interest in the LGBTQ community, women’s health, and sports medicine as well.
My husband and I have three young children, and we moved to Motueka in July 2023 for an adventure. I love all outdoor activities, especially hiking and riding bikes, and am starting to explore mountain biking and kayaking since arriving! Additionally, music is a big part of our lives. We feel very fortunate to be in this lovely community.
